WWE NXT Homecoming: Icons Return to Full Sail for Dream Match Extravaganza

Next week, WWE NXT returns to Full Sail University for a special episode titled “NXT Homecoming”, promising nostalgia, star power, and high-stakes action. Fans were already treated to early surprises during last night’s NXT, with Carmelo Hayes, Tyler Breeze, Tiffany Stratton, Stephanie Vaquer, and Rhea Ripley making shock appearances, setting social media alight.

While the full schedule has not been revealed on the WWE website, a report by the PWInsider suggests some interesting matchups on the cards.

The women’s division will take centre stage in a six-woman tag team bout as Fatal Influence takes on Stephanie Vaquer, WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton, and Rhea Ripley, promising chaos and high-intensity action.

In another marquee bout, NXT North American Champion Ethan Page will defend his title against the returning Tyler Breeze, one of NXT’s original stars. Breeze’s return to Full Sail marks a significant homecoming moment, while Page will aim to retain in front of a nostalgic crowd.

Perhaps the biggest emotional hook comes from the reunion of Carmelo Hayes and TNA World Champion Trick Williams, who will team up to face Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa. Gargano and Ciampa, famously known as DIY, carried NXT with legendary matches for years, and this bout promises to bridge two eras of the brand.

Adding to the action, fans will also get a special episode of The Grayson Waller Effect, with NXT Champion Oba Femi and Ricky Starks as featured guests. With Waller’s reputation for stirring the pot, the segment could quickly turn physical.
