Doordarshan will telecast live the Mangala, Shringaar, Rajbhog, Sandhya, and Shayan Aartis offered to the Ram Lalla idol at the Ayodhya Ram temple on DD National, connecting devotees who can't visit the temple.

Doordarshan, India's national broadcaster, has announced that it will telecast the morning prayers offered to the Ram Lalla idol at the Ayodhya Ram Temple live every day. This decision aims to connect devotees of Lord Ram, especially those unable to visit the temple in person.

Live broadcast of morning prayers at Ayodhya Ram Temple

The morning aarti, a Hindu ritual of worship, will be broadcast live on DD National every morning from 6:30 AM. The broadcast will also be available on DD's YouTube channel.

The decision to telecast the morning aarti live was made after receiving approval from the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. Initially, DD will air the "Mangala aarti" for a few months, after which the Ram Temple Trust will decide on the future direction of the broadcast.

Currently, the Trust lacks the logistical arrangements for a live broadcast. Therefore, Doordarshan will station a small crew of two to three members at the temple to cover the daily ritual.

Ayodhya Ram Temple Aarti Schedule

The Ayodhya Ram Temple holds six aartis daily:

  • Mangala Aarti: 4:30 AM
  • Shringaar Aarti: 6:30 AM
  • Rajbhog Aarti: 12:00 PM
  • Utthapan Aarti: 2:00 PM
