Despite predictions of a single-digit opening, 'Sitaare Zameen Par' exceeded expectations, earning approximately Rs 11.7 crore on its opening day, according to Sacnilk. This success is attributed to positive word-of-mouth, suggesting potential growth in viewership over the weekend.
